Sonos Ace Finally Updated With TrueCinema Audio Technology

The Sonos Ace is the first Sonos headphone to launch last year, and it should come with support for a number of technologies that were previously only seen on their speaker hardware.

Recently, it has been reported that Sonos has updated the Sonos Ace headphones with a feature that has been awaited since its launch, namely Sonos TrueCinema. In short, it is the same technology used in Sonos speakers to measure the size and width of the room for optimal audio performance.

With the Sonos Ace, the TrueCinema feature does the same thing, where it will measure the size of the room to provide more accurate audio projection, depending on where you are sitting.

If you also own a Sonos speaker, they have also updated the TV Audio Swap feature, where it now supports audio projection to two pairs of Sonos Ace headphones at once. Apart from that, the noise cancellation feature has also been improved, where the function will be adjusted according to the position of the headphones on your head. Call quality will also be improved through the SideTone feature, which will be clearer especially when the ANC feature is activated.

Sonos says that this update is already rolling out on a regular basis, and will arrive for all Sonos Ace owners in the near future.
