Apple Reportedly Wants to Acquire the Broadcast Rights to Formula 1 Races on Apple TV+

Apple recently stole the spotlight with its latest film, F1, starring Brad Fit. The film was released in theaters first, before being offered on Apple TV+.

In line with the theme, it is now reported that Apple is in talks to acquire the broadcast rights to broadcast Formula 1 races. Most likely, for the initial phase, the broadcast rights will be for the United States market first.

Apple has previously been ready to add broadcasts of several sporting events via Apple TV+, and this will provide more content to the streaming service's subscribers. This will also continue to expand their catalog, in addition to TV series and films.

Today, the F1 broadcast rights are held by ESPN, which is owned by Disney.
