Apple will introduce products such as the iPhone 17 series, iPad Pro and updates to the Apple Vision Pro around the end of the third quarter of this year, but according to Bloomberg, the premium technology company is also expected to show a number of updates to other product series early next year.
According to a report by Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, Apple is expected to show off its Mac computer and MacBook laptop offerings including the MacBook Pro with new processing chips, updates to the Apple Studio display, the iPhone 17e that comes with affordable specifications and updates to the iPad and iPad Air series.
The iPhone 17e is expected to come with a design similar to the iPhone 16e, and like its predecessor, it may be updated with the new Apple A19 processing chip that will power the Apple iPhone 17 and 17 Plus devices.
As for the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, there is a possibility that the models will arrive with the Apple M5, M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The M5 Pro and Max models are also seen as possibly the last time Apple will use this frame design on the MacBook Pro, as Apple will update the MacBook Pro look and offer OLED displays instead of the Retina Display in 2027.
Apple will also launch new iPad and iPad Air models at the event. For the iPad Air, the new generation model is expected to replace the seventh-generation model with an updated Apple M4 processor chip.
The Bloomberg report further states that there is a possibility that the update to the product launch event date is to ensure that sales of their products are more even, and allow customers more time to buy new products.
Apple is expected to show off devices such as the Apple iPhone 17 series, Apple Watch, Apple iPad Pro and updates to the Apple Vision Pro in September, while other products will be introduced around the first half of next year.
