CFM Will Now Help Google Report Content That Violates Policies on Google and YouTube

Google has now announced that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Content Forum (CFM) has been selected under the Google & YouTube Priority Flagger Program. With this move, CFM will help Google report any content that violates policies on YouTube and Google, and operate faster than before.

With the selection of CFM, content reporting can also take into account local cultural contexts. In parallel, CFM will be given special access to report to Google, as well as being involved in discussions and providing feedback regarding Google and YouTube content policies.

In addition, CFM also carries out a number of other initiatives, including protecting consumer rights in the communications and multimedia sector. Through the CFM official website, consumers can make various complaints, including involving telecommunications bill charges, telecommunications-related problems, courier and delivery-related problems, and others, and they will be forwarded to the appropriate party. CFM is a self-regulatory organization under the MCMC.
