The trend of using high-capacity batteries is increasingly gaining ground among mobile device manufacturers, including Honor, which will introduce its new device X70 5G on July 15 in China.
This mid-range device comes with a third-generation silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 8300mAh, making it the first in the commercial smartphone category. This battery surpasses the Honor Power model launched last April and is expected to offer an improvement in terms of daily use endurance.
The Honor X70 supports wired fast charging up to 80W, and the model with a configuration of 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage is also equipped with wireless charging support. Despite being loaded with a high-capacity battery, the device design still maintains a thin build.
