Lazada to Increase Seller Commission Charges Effective July 18, 2025

Lazada has now informed sellers on its platform that it is re-standardizing its commission charges, and will be making a slight increase effective July 18, 2025.

The commission charges will vary by category. Digital goods will be charged a commission of 21.5%, while FMCG goods will be charged up to 16%, and fashion goods up to 15%. Electronics will be charged up to 14.5%.

Lazada says that with this increase, all sellers will also receive several benefits offered on the platform, including participation in a free voucher program, free shipping support, participation in the LazCoins program, and a number of other AI features for sellers. Lazada also says that it will not charge a platform support fee like its competitors.

The commission charge will be applied to items that are successfully sold and shipped to buyers only. Lazada will also waive this charge for new sellers for the first 120 days on Lazada. Like other charges, this commission charge is also subject to an 8% SST charge.
