Lenovo Legion Go 2 Prototype Internal Design Revealed

Lenovo was the first company to announce that the second version of its mobile PC console, the Lenovo Legion 2 Go, would be powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, but since CES 2025, not much has been revealed about the console.

Now, it has been reported that production for the console prototype has been halted, and it has gone on sale on the Xianyu website, and it appears to be powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 processor. Interestingly, the console is seen using 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, twice as much as what was offered on the original Lenovo Legion Go console.

The Chinese content creator has also taken the console apart, showing off the use of other new components such as an 8.8-inch Samsung OLED screen panel with a resolution of 1200p and a refresh rate of 160Hz. It is also seen using a 74Wh battery that powers the console for an hour and a half when the console is played at a power level of 30W.

Like the previous consoles, the controller on the Legion Go 2 can also be detached like on the Nintendo Switch console, and this time, it seems that apart from using the right controller as a mouse, this console will also come with support for using a built-in digital keyboard.

So far, not many official details are known about the official launch of this console, but there are also reports that Lenovo will start introducing this console around September 2025.
