Nothing May Introduce Budget Smartphones With ‘Lite’ Or ‘T’ Branding

Nothing is reportedly planning to expand its smartphone lineup with new budget models that may use the ‘Lite’ and ‘T’ branding. The move is said to be a response to the less than encouraging reception to the Pro model in the Nothing Phone (3) series. The launch of the Phone (3) in early July also received mixed reactions from users.

Although the device still retains the iconic visual elements of the Nothing brand, the replacement of the Glyph lighting system with a static Glyph-shaped display has raised questions about its position as a flagship device. Especially when the device is offered at a high selling price.

In the budget segment, Nothing now offers the ‘a’ series such as the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro, each of which is categorized as a user-friendly option. The addition of the Lite and T models has raised speculation as to whether it will be a more affordable version of the Phone (3) and (3a) Pro, or potentially replace the ‘a’ series entirely. So far, Nothing has not released any official statement regarding these rumors.
