Nothing Phone (3) Now Official – Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, Tri-Camera and New Glyph

Nothing Phone (3) is now officially launched and as promised it is a flagship device with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. This chip is paired with a 6.67″ AMOLED LTPO screen, 120Hz and supports HDR10+ display. Memory is up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, storage is up to 512GB UFS 4.0 and the battery is 5150 mAh SiC. The battery can be recharged using 65W power and wirelessly at 15W power.

The main tri-camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. On the front, again a 50MP sensor is used for the selfie camera. The tri-camera configuration is quite different from the bump used on the 3a and 3a Pro before. A red light will light up on the rear panel when video recording is done.

The big change on the back is definitely the absence of the Glyph light, which is replaced by the Glyph Matrix, which is a round screen consisting of 486 LEDs. It can display notifications, time, phone call battery level, has several built-in mini games called Glyph Toy and more. A special round button for Glyph control is placed on the back.

Another Essential Key button is also placed on the right side which when pressed can summon a virtual assistant, launch the audio recording application, Essential Space and more. This makes the Phone (3) the device with the most additional physical buttons we have ever seen.

The Nothing OS 3.5 operating system is used and it is based on Android 15. Nothing will provide 5 Android version updates and 7 years of security patches. The Phone (3) body also passes the IP68 standard. Finally, there is also an under-screen fingerprint scanner and a pair of stereo speakers.

Nothing Phone (3) is offered in white and black. The selling price of the Malaysian device will be revealed at the local launch event on July 11.
