OpenAI to Launch Web Browser with Artificial Intelligence Integration – Competing with Google Chrome

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is now reportedly set to introduce their artificial intelligence-powered web browser in the near future. It is expected to be introduced within a few weeks.

Through the web browser offering, OpenAI will receive access to user data directly, and use it to continuously improve their artificial intelligence models. The web browser is also expected to change how users browse the web moving forward, including performing a number of browsing tasks for users through the integration of AI agents.

The web browser developed by OpenAI is said to be based on Chromium, an open source web browser engine developed by Google. Among the web browsers that use this engine are Opera and Microsoft Edge.

ChatGPT already has hundreds of millions of users, and if this web browser receives high user numbers, it will simultaneously position it as a major competitor for Google, and have an impact on Google itself.
