A few months ago, Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Surface Pro and Microsoft Surface Laptop series of tablets and laptops with a more compact display size and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor chip.
It is seen as the perfect choice for those who want a compact work machine, where the new Surface Pro comes with a 12-inch display, while the new Surface Laptop comes with a 13-inch display.
Recently, Microsoft Malaysia has opened pre-orders for these products in the local market by offering two different SSD storage options, including 256GB or 512GB. The memory and storage configurations offered are as follows:
Microsoft Surface Pro 12″ (X Plus / 16GB / 256GB) – RM3999
Microsoft Surface Pro 12″ (X Plus / 16GB / 512GB) – RM4399
Microsoft Surface Laptop 13″ (X Plus / 16GB / 256GB) – RM4488
Microsoft Surface Laptop 13″ (X Plus / 16GB / 512GB) – RM4888
Microsoft Malaysia also confirmed that pre-orders for the Microsoft Surface tablet and laptop are now open starting today, 8 July 2025 and can be ordered through official Microsoft product distributors such as all IT Hypermarket, Harvey Norman, PC Image, SNS Network and Thunder Match Technology. It will go on sale on 22 July 2025.
