Samsung has just launched its latest series of foldable devices consisting of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7. One of the sad things about this launch is that Samsung confirmed that the S Pen accessory that is usually seen on the Samsung Galaxy S Ultra device is no longer supported on the foldable Z Fold7 device.
According to a report by ETNews, Kang Min-seok, who is the executive director of Samsung's MX (Mobile eXperience) division, said that the company is developing an S Pen accessory specifically for the Galaxy Z Fold device that does not affect the existing design of the device.
Samsung's decision to no longer support the S Pen is seen as the biggest negative point for the device because even though the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 does not come with the accessory built-in, it still supports the accessory without any problems.
For now, Samsung does not seem to want to confirm when the S Pen accessory will return for the Galaxy Z Fold series, whether it will be introduced next year, or in the following years. But with this, it can be seen that Samsung is aware of the importance of these accessories for those who use this device for productivity purposes.
