Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra May Feature New Design

Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a thinner design and improvements to the display, camera system and charging. This information was shared by Ice Universe citing gsmarena which also uploaded a good mock-up image of the device.

One notable change is the rear design which now uses a Camera Island arrangement to house three of the four camera lenses. This is different from previous generations which used separate camera bumps. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also said to have a thickness of less than 8mm with dimensions that are also taller and wider. However, the weight of the device is said to be lighter at around 218grams.

The device is expected to come with a 200MP main sensor that has been upgraded. This is matched with a new telephoto lens and a larger aperture for the periscope. It may also be equipped with a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with the latest technology that offers better color accuracy and lower power consumption. 60W wired charging is potentially used but the battery still remains at 5000mAh.
