The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 was launched today and it brings innovation in the form of a thinner body design and improved cameras. But one feature that has been supported since the Z Fold3, namely S Pen stylus support, is no longer provided. This has buried the hopes of users who have long been waiting for Samsung to include the S Pen built-in to the Z Fold series.
S Pen support was discontinued because it has not been used much by Fold series owners since its introduction. This is not helped by the need to buy it separately and the special S Pen for the Fold can only be used on the foldable screen.
With the S Pen feature being discontinued on the Z Fold series, it bodes badly that it may not be supported on the Galaxy S Ultra series after this. On this year's S25 Ultra, complaints arose because the S Pen did not support the Bluetooth control feature. To fans of the Galaxy S Ultra series, is it now time to say goodbye to the S Pen or should it be retained so that the device remains Ultra?
