The Last of Us Part II Remastered was released last year, which updated the graphics quality to make it more compatible with the PlayStation 5. Today, Naughty Dog, the developer of the game, announced that TLOU II Remastered can be updated to enable the chronological story mode and two new skins that can be worn by the main character.
In the original TLOU II, the story begins in the middle before the two protagonists' storylines are played separately over a period of several years. Through the chronological mode, each incident that occurs can be played in its original order, allowing players to enjoy the story from a different perspective than the original.
In addition to the chronological mode, the characters Joel and Tommy Miller are now given outfits from the characters Nathan Drake and Sam Drake from the Uncharted series, which was also developed by Naughty Dog. These two new outfits are given in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the Naughty Dog studio.
Patch 2.1.0 update for PlayStation and Patch 1.5 for PC via Steam and Epic Games can be downloaded now.
