This Frame Turns iPhone Lightning Into USB-C

I made the full switch to USB-C two years ago after the iPhone 15 was launched. Only one cable was needed to charge all the devices in my bag. For older iPhone users, they had to upgrade to a new model if they wanted to use USB-C. Ken Pillonel, an engineer from Switzerland, solved this issue by creating a Lightning to USB-C adapter frame.

A few years ago, he went viral on social media for modifying iPhones and AirPods with Lightning ports into devices with USB-C ports. He realized that not many old iPhone owners had the engineering and electronics expertise to follow in his footsteps. The iPh0n3 frame was created by him for the iPhone 14 series up to the iPhone XR.

This frame places the USB-C charging port in the bottom right corner. The speaker hole, SIM, audio slider, power button, and the iPhone's mute switch are still accessible. Wireless charging is also not affected if this frame is used. The iPh0n3 frame is sold through Pillonel's personal website at prices starting at CHF 43 (~RM 229) each.
