Acer Predator is a brand known for offering premium desktop computers, laptops and gaming accessories. Lately, they have also entered the component market with their own graphics card offerings using graphics card models from AMD and Intel.
Recently, they seem to have expanded their offerings to memory and storage components with three new products, namely the Predator Hera Gold Edition memory kit and two Predator GM9000 and Predator GM9 SSD storage models.
Starting with the Predator Hera Gold Edition memory kit, it is a DDR5 memory kit with a 192GB memory configuration, or 48GB for each memory stick with a speed of 6000MT/s. This memory can be used on any motherboard that supports the use of DDR5 memory, but is more suitable for matching with AMD X870/X870E/B850 motherboards with AMD EXPO memory technology enabled.
If you want a fast and durable SSD storage to use as your computer's primary storage option, the Predator GM9000 may be right for your computer. This PCIe 5.0×4 SSD storage comes with read and write speeds of 14000MB/s and 13500MB/s and is equipped with metal cooling fins to help dissipate heat from the built-in storage chip to allow it to operate at a more optimal rate.
The Predator GM9 is another PCie 5.0 SSD storage but this time it is more suitable for storing large amounts of data and does not require fast data write speeds. It comes with read and write speeds of 14500MB/s and 13000MB/s, not far from the GM9000, but does not have a built-in DRAM component.
Storage options for both the Predator GM9000 and Predator GM9 SSDs come with 1TB to 4TB options, but for the Malaysian market, we show that Thundermatch computer stores bring in 1TB and 2TB storage options.
As for the Predator Hera Gold Edition DDR5 memory kit, it is not known if it will be offered for the local market or not.
