Zetrix Presents NurAI – AI Bot That Can Answer Religious Questions

Zetrix or formerly known as MyEG, is now present with their latest offering to users, especially Muslims, called NurAI. NurAI is said to be trained based on the DeepSeek V3 public language model.

NurAI is currently offered in beta form, and for this two-week period, it is offered completely free of charge. NurAI focuses on answering questions involving Islamic values, and integrates input from the Quran and fatwas from the mufti's office in answering them. It is also adapted to the Malaysian context. Through our tests using NurAI, it is seen to be limited to questions involving Islam only, and does not answer other questions.

NurAI can interact in Malay, Arabic, English and Indonesian. Some of our experiments also showed the use of Indonesian terms in Malaysian responses. Under the platform, it is also divided into two, namely NurAI which provides views based on Malaysian fatwas, while UstazAI refers to broader sources and various schools of thought. NurAI also uses Malay as the dominant language, while UstazAI is more flexible in terms of language. UstazAI is also limited to NurAI's paid subscribers only.

In terms of interface, NurAI could be improved further, and made more modern than what is offered today. In addition, its use is also limited to religious questions and answers, and is not expanded to cover a number of other daily or current matters.

Through the NurAI website, it is also shown that they will offer a Nur Plus subscription plan at a price of RM20 per month, and also Nur Pro at a subscription price of RM200 per month. Both of these paid subscriptions provide access to UstazAI, responses in the form of audio, and the ability to view PDF documents.

For those of you who are interested, you can check out NurAI today via the official website, and also via the application on Android and iPhone.
