AMD is reported to show the company's direction and make a number of announcements about their semiconductor products during the Financial Analyst Day event to be held this November in New York.
As we know, AMD is currently offering AMD Ryzen 9000 processing chips using AMD ZEN 5 architecture and AMD Radeon RX 9000 using RDNA 4 graphics architecture for general consumers.
This is the best opportunity for AMD's leadership, led by Dr. Lisa Su as CEO, to show the company's direction for the next few years. This includes showing more details about the AMD ZEN 6, RDNA 5 processing chip series and other projects that will take advantage of the use of these processing chips, such as powering the upcoming Sony PlayStation 6 console.
In the meantime, it is expected that AMD will also strengthen their hold on the data center CPU market and AI dominance, which until now has been seen as strongly held by NVIDIA. AMD is expected to reveal more details about their AMD EPYC data center CPUs featuring 256 AMD ZEN 6 cores, and possibly also the AMD Instinct MI400 which will likely be powered by CDNA 5 computing technology.
