Apple is already experiencing challenges in developing their Siri, which is improved with artificial intelligence support. Siri, which was supposed to be released this year, has been delayed to next year. Despite the delay, Apple is seen wanting to include a number of additional features in Siri.
According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is reportedly developing integrations that will allow users to use Siri to control other applications. For example, users can ask Siri to send shares to social media, or book a ride.
It is said that Siri has begun testing this feature with several popular applications, including Uber, Temu, Threads, Facebook and YouTube. If all goes well, we may see this feature introduced as early as 2026.
This implementation is also expected to change the way users use their smartphones – and at the same time shape the development of future devices, such as Apple's smart glasses.
