Details of Intel’s Nova Lake series of processors expected to launch in late 2026 have apparently leaked, specifically the Intel Nova Lake Mobile series of processors for laptops.
The details were revealed by Jaykihn on Twitter, and have been reported by a number of other tech news sites. He appears to be showing core details for both Intel Panther Lake-H series of processors for laptops that will be introduced later this year along with details of the Intel Nova Lake Mobile series of processors.
What’s most interesting about this information is that the Intel Nova Lake HX chips will feature a 28-core processor offering consisting of eight Performance cores, 16 Efficiency cores, and four Low-Power Efficiency cores. Meanwhile, the Nova Lake Mobile processors will also apparently be paired with Intel’s Xe3 “Celestial” graphics processor with four built-in cores.
What's also interesting about this processor chip is that this Nova Lake processor chip will use the Performance core using the Coyote Cove chip and the Efficiency core using the Arctic Wolf chip just like what is used in the desktop class Nova Lake processor chip. For that model, it is expected that the most powerful Nova Lake chip is expected to arrive with as many as 52 physical cores.
Anyway, for now, these details can be seen as Intel's initial plan to introduce a new series of computer processor chips that are much more powerful than previous offerings. As said, this series of chips will only be shown around the end of 2026, and these details may still change later.
What is certain is that Intel is expected to introduce a series of laptop processor chips that are powerful enough, perhaps to rival their own desktop computer offerings.
