BYD is the world's number one electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer after successfully overtaking Tesla earlier this year. Their integrity in the EV industry can no longer be laughed at by Elon Musk because the company's fate is now like two different magnetic poles. After successfully conquering the EV market, BYD will now enter the tablet market.
BYD will produce a tablet specifically designed for the Fangchengbao Tai 7 EV SUV. Fangchengbao is a sub-brand of BYD with their vehicles marketed under the Denza brand abroad. There is no information about the specifications of this tablet, only that it is compatible for use in the Tai 7 when it is launched in the coming Q4.
With this, BYD sits in line with Xiaomi and Huawei who have previously marketed tablets compatible for use in their EVs. Xiaomi, for example, offers a built-in mount in the SU7 and YU7 to hold not only tablets but also various existing smartphone models, cameras and chargers.
