Google Translate can be used to learn new things. The feature announced today allows English speakers to learn Spanish and French. At the same time, Spanish and French speakers can learn English.
There is a “practice” button in the app to try it today. There is an option to learn common phrases for shopping with comprehension tested by listening to audio playing or testing the pronunciation of the language being studied. Users can access this feature in the Android and iOS apps starting next week.
In addition, Google Translate also now has a feature to perform real-time language translation through Live Translate. It supports 70 major languages of the world such as Arabic, Korean, French, Thai and Malay. With the help of artificial intelligence, Live Translate can still understand user conversations even in noisy environments.
The Live Translate feature is accessible to Translate app users on Android and iOS in India, Mexico and the United States today.
