The Honor Power was launched last April with a massive 8000 mAh battery but the device is only 8mm thick. This allows the device to last all day without the owner having to worry about charging it. While 8000 mAh is a large capacity, Honor is now reportedly launching the Honor Power 2 with a larger battery.
The Honor Power 2 is being developed with a 10,000 mAh battery and uses the Dimensity 8500 chip. This is a mid-range chip with eight Cortex-A725 CPU cores. This year has seen devices in this class paired with batteries of at least 7000 mAh which is very popular in the Chinese market.
As users in Malaysia, we can only watch from afar because so far Honor has not offered the Power series to the local market. Is a large battery more useful than a flagship processor chip?
