Meta has now made a surprise announcement, and announced a collaboration with one of the artificial intelligence firms focused on image and video generation, Midjourney. With this move, Meta will license their artificial intelligence model, for use in future Meta products and models.
With this move, Meta will receive a good visual generation model to integrate together, while offering a better solution than others. Midjourney has previously been known for offering images that are very good compared to others, and at the same time has recently expanded their offerings to include video generation.
Midjourney also previously aimed to come up with their own device, but it is not known what their plans are now. With this licensing, it is expected to benefit both parties in this artificial intelligence arena.
