The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra was not updated with a new model when the Galaxy Watch8 series was launched a few weeks ago. Instead, it was only offered in a new Titanium Blue color and the One UI 8 Watch operating system based on Wear OS 6. Two weeks ago, the Galaxy Watch Ultra in South Korea began receiving this latest operating system and this week it can also be done by owners in Malaysia.
The update size is 1935.78 MB and it is done OTA via the Samsung Wearables application or directly from the watch settings screen. It brings new features such as Running Coach, Vascular Load, Antioxidant Index and Gemini which can be accessed directly from the watch.
Although the Galaxy Watch Ultra did not receive a new model, it does not have many differences with the Galaxy Watch8 as it shares the Exynos W1000 processor chip but retains the exclusive emergency alarm feature.
