Realme announced that they will introduce a new device equipped with a large battery of more than 10,000mAh. Based on the latest image shared by the company, the device is confirmed to come with a 15,000mAh battery, making it one of the smartphones with the largest battery capacity ever announced.
The global launch of this device is scheduled to take place on August 27, 2025, but it is expected to be a concept smartphone that is not yet available for the consumer market in the near future. Despite having a large battery, the design of this device does not seem to be as thick as products that usually come with large capacity batteries.
The device is expected to use silicon anode technology introduced by Realme early last year. It is able to increase energy density and overall battery performance efficiency. For reference, the Realme GT7 model in China comes with a 7,200mAh battery, making it the device with the largest battery ever offered by Realme to date.
Through the promotional image shared, the words ‘15,000mAh’ are clearly displayed on the back of the device. Realme states that this high-capacity battery can support up to 50 hours of continuous video viewing and provide more than 5 days of usage on a full charge. The launch of this device is expected to be a new benchmark in the global smartphone industry.
