Samsung Confirms Exynos 2600 Will Use 2nm GAA Technology

Samsung has confirmed that the Exynos 2600 will be the first flagship processor developed using Samsung Foundry’s 2nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology. The announcement was made in its H2 2025 financial report, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to regain competitiveness in the semiconductor market.

The Exynos 2600 is expected to be used in several Galaxy S26 models depending on the market, making it the first commercially available 2nm chip. This puts Samsung one step ahead of competitors such as Apple, MediaTek, and Qualcomm who are still using 3nm technology for their flagship chips.

Samsung has also signed a deal with Tesla to supply the 2nm chip, which is expected to help strengthen its position in the global semiconductor industry. The Exynos 2600 is reported to come with a 10-core (1+3+6) CPU and an Eclipse 960 GPU with up to 15% graphics performance. In addition, it supports AI capabilities on the device through increased NPU performance.
