Telegram has been updated with several new features to improve the overall user experience. Among the improvements provided are Public Posts Search support, an album function to collect stories in one view, reorganizing gifts into more organized collections, and a bot management system through a new mini-app.
Telegram introduced the Public Post Search feature that allows users to filter content from open channels through the newly added Posts tab. For now, this function is only available to Telegram Premium users to provide easier access to public content from various sources.
Telegram also introduced the Story Albums feature that allows users to organize stories into albums through the Posts tab on their respective profiles. It makes it easier to organize content such as images or product information in a more organized way, thus improving the navigation experience in the application.
The Gift Collections function has also been improved, with users able to reorganize digital gifts into their own collections through the Gifts tab. Gifts can be categorized according to themes or specific features, and a gift can be included in multiple collections at once.
At the same time, Telegram introduced a new rating system on user profiles based on successful transactions made using Telegram Stars. This rating provides a general picture of the level of user engagement on Telegram, including activities such as paid messaging.
Telegram also offers a new mini-app through @BotFather that is designed to simplify overall bot management. Through it, developers can change icons, descriptions and various settings more efficiently. The mini-app also supports full-screen display, subscription management and location data integration.
