Reddit, one of the forum-style sites that is already popular among users around the world, is now showing their vision moving forward. Reddit says that they are now one of the destinations to refer to and obtain various information and knowledge.
Moving forward, they want to focus more on the search feature, in an effort to make it one of the core products. Reddit today said that the search feature is used by more than 70 million active users each week, while the Reddit Answers feature – which is an artificial intelligence-powered search support – is used by more than 6 million users each week.
Reddit is now 20 years old, and relies on Google to get traffic to their site. However, with various changes made to Google, Reddit is now taking steps to focus on the search feature, and ensure that users refer to their site to obtain various information and knowledge.
This transition is expected to be done in stages, starting with the introduction of Reddit Answers globally, in addition to the integration of Reddit Answers into the core search support on Reddit itself.
