ASUS ROG Xbox Ally Mobile Console Series To Be Launched In Malaysia On October 3



Last month, we reported that the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X mobile PC gaming consoles would go on sale on October 16. That may still be true, but we now know that ASUS Malaysia will be introducing these products for the local market through a streaming event on October 3.


Through a post posted on the ASUS Republic of Gamers Facebook page, a launch streaming event for the Malaysian market has been shown and will take place at 8pm on the Facebook page.


The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is equipped with a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A chip, 16GB LPDDR5X-6400RAM, 512GB M.2 2280 SSD storage and a 60Wh battery. There are 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage can be replaced by the user.


The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X is equipped with a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB LPDDR5X-8000 RAM, 1TB M.2 2280 SSD storage and an 80Wh battery. There is 1x USB-Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DP 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage can also be replaced by the user.


Based on the promotional images shown, both consoles will be shown during the local announcement event. ASUS Malaysia is also expected to show the price tag and confirm the sale date of both consoles. Let's wait for their arrival.
