The noble class compact speaker Devialet Phantom has recently received a new update that allows it to produce audio that is not only louder, but also deeper bass sound.
Named Devialet Phantom Ultimate, this speaker features a design that is almost the same as the previous Devialet Phantom, but with some changes that give it a more modern look.
Devialet Phantom Ultimate also now houses a number of new audio technologies such as Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH) which is an amplifier that combines the use of Class A and Class D amplification to produce more accurate sound at a more efficient rate of electrical energy consumption.
Active Speaker Matching and Adaptive Volume Level will also modify the quality and volume of the audio depending on the genre of the song being played and also the volume of the audio, and this is seen to help ensure that this speaker can last a long time and continue to produce the best audio output. One new technology introduced is Heart Bass Implosion which allows this speaker to produce bass audio with frequencies as low as 14Hz.
Like previous Devialet Phantom models, it comes in models that can produce audio with a volume figure of 98dB or 108dB and supports AirPlay, Google Cast and Roon Ready wireless connections. In terms of basic connectivity, the speaker supports Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6 connections, and supports single, stereo and multi-room speaker configurations.
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate comes in Deep Forest and Light Pearl color options and is manufactured at Devialet's La Manufacture factory in France. The 108dB model is priced at $3800 while the 98dB model is priced at $1900 and is currently available in select markets.
