The One UI 8 operating system was recently launched with the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 series, Tab S11 series and Galaxy S25 FE. For owners of other Samsung devices, the update to One UI 8 based on Android 16 will begin to be received in Malaysia starting today.
According to Samsung Malaysia, the Galaxy S25 series will begin receiving it today followed by the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 on September 25. The full list of the first devices to receive the update is as follows. One UI 8 brings new features such as a brighter interface, an improved DeX desktop mode and the latest security patches.

At the time of writing, we have yet to receive the One UI 8 update on some Galaxy S25 series devices in the office. Samsung started rolling out the update in South Korea on September 15 and is now rolling out in stages by market.
