Garmin has launched the latest model in their wearable device series, the Garmin Instinct Crossover AMOLED. Like the previous Instinct model, this watch is designed for outdoor activities with a durable design.
This model is an improvement on the original Instinct Crossover with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display that offers a brighter display.
However, the change from the MiP panel to AMOLED affects battery life where the life is reduced from 28 days to 14 days or 5 days with AOD used all the time.
In terms of functionality, the Garmin Instinct Crossover AMOLED still retains the main features of the original model such as physical durability, analog display and outdoor activity support.
However, it is now equipped with dual-band GPS support with SatIQ technology which provides more accurate location accuracy.
In addition, the storage capacity has also been increased from 64MB to 4GB to allow more applications to be stored.
The Garmin Instinct Crossover AMOLED also comes with new features such as Garmin Share, Garmin Passcode and Red Shift Mode for daily security and convenience.
It also comes with an LED flashlight, water resistance up to 10ATM and a scratch-resistant Sapphire screen.
Another interesting feature is that the watch face can be changed automatically so that the widget is not covered by the analog clock.
