Gemini is now officially accessible through Google TV through an update. It will replace Assistant as the virtual assistant on this smart television operating system. In addition to being able to be used to control several TV functions using voice, Gemini can also provide a nest of content that can be watched and have two-way conversations with users.
Other instructions that can be given are to provide video recommendations based on the suitability of watching with the family. Ask Gemini to provide a playlist of YouTube videos for children's subject topics or ask it to provide a summary of the previous season of the TV series you want to stream.
Today it is offered on the TCL QM9K TV series before being expanded to the TC Google TV Streamer 4K box as well as several TV models from Hisense and TCL. A little disappointingly, Google did not say whether Gemini will be offered on Chromecast for Google TV.
