Google tests an app for Windows that offers such a spotlight experience on macOS

Google today announced that they offered a special application for Windows under Google Labs, making it easy for users to easily search documents from any desktop section. Roughly, it offers an experience like a "spotlight" search feature on MacOS.

Through this app, when it is installed, users can activate it by simply pressing the Alt + Space key on the keyboard, and then searching for information and files, including files on computers, installed applications, and even files in Google Drive. Users can also use it in web search.

In addition, users can also activate Google Lens on it, and get information on any matter displayed on the user's computer screen-including translations, and more.

Currently, Google offers access to this application to users in the United States first, and need to use Windows 10 and up to date. Let's look forward to when it will be extended to global consumers, including Malaysia.
