Huawei introduced the MatePad Mini as a new compact tablet option. This device comes with an 8.8-inch 120Hz Flexible OLED screen and a thickness of 5.1mm. The display supports a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels with a pixel density of 343 PPI.
The MatePad Mini uses the HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system which offers a more modern experience. It comes with memory options of up to 16GB RAM and storage of up to 1TB. Huawei has also upgraded the Huawei Notes application with new features such as AI Keypoints, more canvases, freely arrangeable mind maps and document import function for easy note-taking and organizing ideas.
The tablet supports the new generation HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro which provides more responsive control. It supports three types of pen nibs and can be rotated to easily change the pen tip. It also has a special button to summon the Xiaoyi virtual assistant, in addition to being able to record voice and convert voice to text directly.
The MatePad Mini is equipped with a 50MP+8MP dual rear camera system and a 50MP selfie camera. The device also uses a 6400mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
