Instagram is now introducing a new feature that allows users to pin their own comments to uploaded posts or Reels. This feature gives content creators and businesses the advantage of sharing important information such as promotions, additional explanations or key responses in the comments section.
To use the feature, users simply need to long-press on their own comment and select the ‘Pin’ option. The comment will appear at the top of the comments section. Currently, users can only pin one of their own comments per post. Instagram will also notify selected followers when the comment is pinned.
Our review found that this feature is already available in the app. Previously, users could only pin comments from followers, and it was limited to the top three comments per post.
