Intel Confirms Arrival of Arrow Lake Refresh and Nova Lake CPU Series for 2026

By now, we already know that Intel will launch their Intel Core 300 series of processors, codenamed “Nova Lake” which is expected to be launched by the end of next year. Recently, it has been reported that they will also introduce the “Arrow Lake Refresh” series of processors earlier.

In a statement by John Pitzer, SVP of corporate communications at Intel, he said that in addition to Nova Lake which will be launched in late 2026 and early 2027, Intel will also introduce the Arrow Lake Refresh series of processors, which are updates to the Arrow Lake desktop processor series that is currently sold.

The launch of the Arrow Lake Refresh series of processors is also said to be a way for Intel to fix various performance issues related to the existing Arrow Lake series of chips, before the launch of Nova Lake at the end of next year.

He also said that the series of processors will be launched in the first half of 2026, and will come with better performance than previous models, including support for faster DDR5 memory.

For those using computers powered by existing Arrow Lake (Intel Core Ultra 200S) processors, it was also confirmed that the Arrow Lake Refresh chips will be supported by existing LGA 1851 motherboards, and will use the existing Intel Core Ultra 200S model name as well.
