Gimbals are usually used with cameras to ensure stable video can be recorded. At IFA Berlin, Lenovo showed off the Smart Motion Concept which is a computer desk with a gimbal that can move on its own.
When a laptop is placed on the Smart Motion Concept, it can be moved according to the user's position. This is done because the Smart Motion Concept uses the laptop's webcam. It can rotate left and right and look up and down. In addition to moving automatically, it can also be controlled using a remote control or the Lenovo AI Ring smart ring shown earlier this year.
In addition to the Smart Motion Concept, the ThinkBook VertiFlex laptop was also shown with a 14″ screen that can be rotated 90 degrees for vertical use.
