Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex Laptop Has a Rotating Screen

At IFA Berlin today, Lenovo showed off the ThinkBook VertiFlex concept laptop which has a screen that can rotate vertically. The 14″ screen that is used rotates 90 degrees allows it to be used in a portrait position suitable for watching TikTok videos or doing coding tasks.

When in the vertical position, a smartphone or tablet can be placed in the space on the left and right sides of the Vertiflex. The rotation process itself is done manually by the user. With this, up to two screens can be viewed simultaneously. Although the laptop's rotating screen is only 18mm thick and weighs 1.39kg.

Lenovo did not share the specifications of the concept device, only saying that they have no plans to offer it to the public at this time. Three years ago Lenovo showed off a concept laptop with a rollable screen which was later sold this year as the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6. So it can be predicted that it will only be on the market in 2-3 years.
