Maybank MAE App Experiencing Temporary Technical Outage



Maybank has now informed users through its MAE app, saying it is currently experiencing a temporary outage. Through the notice displayed, Maybank said they are temporarily implementing transaction limits.


The reason behind this was not stated. The same notice also stated that users can make a number of transactions using the app. However, many Maybank users have complained that they are unable to make transactions using the app.


The notice was also displayed by Maybank on the transaction page on MAE. According to several responses on social media, Maybank is asking users to use the Maybank2U website to make transactions – while they work to restore the service as soon as possible.
