Proton Introduces DC Charging Hub for EVs in Tanjung Malim

Proton, through its subsidiary PRO-NET, today announced the launch of a DC charging hub based at Proton Tanjung Malim. It was introduced at the administration building, where the hub is equipped with two DC chargers that can charge up to four vehicles at a time.

Proton said this is the first time Proton has introduced an infrastructure that is fully managed by them, and not by a third party. This also marks Proton’s first step before expanding to offer a charging network in Malaysia.

Using the charger also does not require any separate application. Users can scan a QR code, and then start charging and make a payment. Proton has set the price of this DC charger at RM0.80 per kWh.

Proton is offering access to this charging hub to all electric vehicle users, regardless of brand.
