Realme to Launch 10,000 mAh Phone in Early 2026

The era of only four-digit battery capacities on smartphones will end with innovations from China that will make it a reality in the near future. It is admitted that previously there was an Energizer device with a capacity of 18,000 mAh but it was not widely marketed because it was too thick. But early next year, Realme will start offering phones with 10,000 mAh batteries.

This was confirmed by Realme vice president Chase Xu. It will not only be equipped with a large battery but will have a thin body design. Silicon-carbon battery technology allows large but thin batteries to be developed by manufacturers in China. Just a few weeks ago, Realme showed a concept device with a 15,000 mAh battery and a built-in “air conditioning” cooling system.

But before Realme, Honor may launch their 10,000 mAh device earlier because the Honor Power 2 is expected to be launched in just a few weeks.

When the device with this large battery is launched, Malaysia will definitely be the first destination to receive it because it does not have restrictions like in the EU and the United States. We already have several devices with 7000 mAh capacity like the Poco M7 in the local market. When large batteries become the new norm, we can start leaving the powerbank at home.
