After a long wait for all Spotify Premium subscribers, starting today Spotify has begun introducing support for lossless audio streaming to subscribers in several countries. Spotify says it will gradually introduce it to more than 50 countries by October.
With this lossless audio support, users can stream audio up to 24-bit/44.1kHz FLAC, while enjoying audio at a better quality. Spotify says this lossless audio support is offered to almost all songs on the platform.
To enable it, users just need to go to Settings & Privacy > Media Quality, and then choose the settings for how to play lossless audio.
This high-quality audio support is offered to Spotify Premium subscribers on mobile, desktop, tablet and also devices that support Spotify Connect.
