Tecno Spark Slim and Pova Slim 5G Are Two of the World's Thinnest Entry-Level Devices

Tecno Spark Slim and Tecno Pova Slim 5G will be launched at IFA Berlin in just a few days. Both of them are expected to be the world's thinnest entry-level phones. Let's start with the Tecno Spark Slim which is only 5.92mm thick with a 144Hz AMOLED screen, powered by the Helio G200 chip, a 50MP main camera and a 5,160mAh battery that supports 45W charging.

The Tecno Pova Slim 5G is 5.95mm thick, with a 144Hz AMOLED screen, powered by the Dimensity 6400 chip, a 50MP main camera and a 5,160mAh battery that supports 45W charging. The difference between the two models is that the Pova Slim 5G supports 5G while the Spark Slim is still just 4G. Another advantage of the Pova Slim 5G is the LED lights on the back that can be customized to look like eyes.

Both slim devices pass the IP64 standard, use the Android 15-based HiOS operating system and have a vapor chamber cooling system. Despite the device's extremely thin body, the battery capacity used is large. The 5.8mm-thick Galaxy S25 Edge is only equipped with a 3900 mAh battery.

More information on specifications and sales prices will be announced at the launch event on September 4.
