X Will Introduce AI-Powered Algorithm Support – Users Can Request Changes Through Grok

Elon Musk today shared that by November 2025, X or the social site previously known as Twitter, will power its timeline and sharing display algorithms entirely using artificial intelligence. This algorithm will also be offered in open source form every two weeks.

Interestingly, by December 2025, Elon Musk said that users of the X social platform can ask Grok to dynamically adjust their timeline and algorithm, making it easier for users to change the display of content on their respective timelines.

With this step, users can have more control over the content you want to see on your timeline, while also showing X switching to an algorithm-powered display form on the timeline, in addition to the option to see what friends are sharing.
