YouTube Premium has started going after Family Plan users who are found to be living apart. A user on Reddit shared an email he received from YouTube that detected that he wasn't living together with his Family Plan account manager. As a result, his access to YouTube Premium was suspended for 14 days.
This is a surprising move because previously YouTube never bothered about all Family Plan users who didn't live together. YouTube seems to be following in the footsteps of Netflix and Disney+ who no longer allow family account users to live together. On Netflix, users with different addresses pay an additional subscription fee.
At this point, the issue of YouTube Premium accounts under the Family Plan being suspended has only been reported by one user. I myself have several family members who don't live together under the Family Plan. If YouTube enforces this feature globally, the reaction they will receive will certainly be the same as Netflix and Disney+.
