Apple Plans to Introduce a MacBook Pro with Touch Screen as Early as 2026

Bloomberg is now sharing that Apple is planning to introduce a laptop with touch screen support as early as the end of 2026 or early 2027. This move will also change Apple's stance so far which does not include a touch screen on laptops - unlike Microsoft's move.

Today, Apple is ready to provide a similar experience through the iPad. But with the integration on the MacBook Pro, it will need to optimize the interface in line with the touch screen, as well as lead to changes in user interaction and productivity.

Apple is expected to use an OLED panel, and will no longer include a notch on the screen. Instead, Apple will use a small camera hole like on several smartphones today.

The introduction of this laptop is also expected to offer an update to the design of the MacBook Pro itself. Bloomberg also said that this introduction will also lead to an increase in the selling price of the MacBook Pro.

Other information is still unknown, and is expected to be heard ahead of its introduction which is scheduled for about a year or so.
