Apple is cutting iPhone Air production just months after its launch due to lower-than-expected demand, according to a Nikkei Asia report. Earlier in another report, Apple was said to have cut iPhone Air production by 1 million units for the same reason.
However, demand for the iPhone 17 is 14% higher than the iPhone 16. Production of the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro has been increased to meet demand. As in previous years, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have recorded the highest sales compared to other models.
This year's model has received a warm welcome due to the significant changes in body design compared to last year. Sales are still good even though from a software perspective, the AI features on this year's iPhones do not offer a significant improvement.
